Top Cards on Twitter 2023: 26-50

Here we go with the last bulk post.  These are the folks that just missed getting into the Top 25.  Many of them have been in that august company before and likely will be again in the future, assuming we do this in the future.  That’s for later though.  Let’s get to the right now!

Our prolific podcaster Kelsey gets quite a boost as she is on the main ballot for the first time.  Some excellent minor league coverage in here with Brian Walton and Kareem.  As Cardinals fans, we are really blessed with a lot of folks that really take the minors seriously and bring us lots of great insights.  Joe may be grumpy about dropping this year but I’m sure it’s nothing another trip to Disney won’t cure.  Interestingly the COD podcast account beats out both of the personal accounts of its hosts.  (I would think bookowl might get some credit for that.)

There’s a ton of great writers that cover the Cardinals but few of them have written as much or covered as long as Rob Rains has.  I love to give Tito a hard time about being wrong about basically everything, but he doubled his offspring this year so he doesn’t care what I say.  Listing Dan under his more known account made for a lot more votes for him this year.  Keely is one of the Cardinal Swifties and we aren’t talking about the 1942 team.  Ryan continues to pine for a big move which, as of this writing, is an unfulfilled Christmas wish.

Pretty much all of the Cardinal minor league teams are worth following and Peoria is no exception.  I’m really surprised Polo slipped out of the Top 25, given his active nature on the site and his personality.  The official player development account is definitely a good source for information and video on the up-and-coming Cardinals.  OCF is new this year but it’s like he’s always been around poking fun at the club.  Rachel is the second representative of the Crying in Baseball podcast we’ve seen so far.

Tomorrow we take a little deeper look at the accounts that make up the Top 25, so come back for those posts!
