This is the last of our bulk examination of the Top Cards on Twitter results. We’ll take a closer look at the Top 25, but there are still a ton of great names that need to be highlighted, most of which were solidly above average in the responses. Before we get to that, here are the back issues:

In this episode, we’ve got grumpy fans, Kyle Reis’s favorite blogger, three respected news providers, and one great saying as a handle. Shall we?

Really surprising to see Brian Walton down this far. I mean, he’s been doing this a long time and is quite respected. Heck, he’s even on the Cardinals’ Hall of Fame Red Ribbon Committee! Also, interesting to see that Derek Shore, who writes for Brian at TheCardinalNation.com, edged him out by a few points. But if you want to follow the minors, those two guys are a must. Also here we have the man behind the #bombsaway points, Mr. RFish35. Cardinalsgifs may be the face of the game but Ryan does the heavy lifting. Good to see Alex Crisafulli with a little love, though he could have been higher as well.

Put Rob Rains actually on the form and it’s not a surprise he makes a large leap up the standings as he’s one of the more well-known folks covering the team. CardinalsFarm and Craig Edwards took some steps back this year, most likely because the former is much less on Twitter these days (and hasn’t written in a bit, I don’t believe) while the former has stepped into national prominence and isn’t quite as Cardinal-tied anymore. And then there’s our Conclave writer Dennis, who still isn’t over losing Ty Wigginton.

I think it’s says a lot when people that weren’t even on the last last year are in the top 30 as soon as they get a shot. Everyone knows the Two Birds on a Bat guys, with their Bengie Molina and some spin-off podcasts as well now. Lauren Bundy and Jeff Niehaus are some excellent follows as well. BirdsOnTheBat13 is an excellent conduit of Cardinal news and thought while the probable reason that Bob Netherton isn’t in the Top 25 this year is that he’s gotten away from his excellent Twitter tales. When he brings those back, I imagine he’ll skyrocket.
Some excellent folks in the last 145 handles and I hope that you’ve checked out a lot of them that you might not have been following. Now, it’s time for the main event. The bottom chunk of the Top 25 comes at you next!
