Tickets on Sale Now for New “DC Comics Super Hero Night” & “Shark Week Night”
ST. LOUIS, Mo., February 24, 2022– The St. Louis Cardinals have announced 13 additional theme dates for the 2022 season, including three first-time events and five Budweiser Bash Nights.
Fans of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman won’t want to miss the new DC Comics Super Hero Night on Wednesday, July 13 vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fans who purchase a special Theme Ticket will receive an exclusive DC Comics/Cardinals t-shirt featuring our favorite superheroes.
Also new for 2022 is Shark Week Night on Monday, July 11. With the purchase of a special Theme Ticket, fans will take home a JAW-some shark-inspired bobblehead.
The Cardinals will host the first-ever Mental Health Awareness Night presented by NAMI St. Louis on Thursday, May 26. Fans purchasing a special Theme Ticket will receive a Cardinals Mental Health Awareness cap. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to NAMI St. Louis.
Budweiser Bash returns with Cardinals Alumni favorites Keith Hernandez (April 26), David Freese (May 10), John Stuper & Dave LaPoint (June 28), Willie McGee (July 12), and Ozzie Smith (August 2). Fans who purchase a special Budweiser Bash Theme Ticket will receive a limited edition bobblehead of that game’s featured Cardinals Alumni. VIP tickets will be available for access to an exclusive pregame autograph session with the featured former player. A sixth Budweiser Bash date will be announced at a later date.
The second annual Bikers at Busch returns on Monday, May 30. With the purchase of a special Theme ticket, fans will take home a biker-inspired Cardinals t-shirt. New for 2022, limited motorcycle parking will be available for pre-purchase in the Starr Lot across the street from the ballpark.
The Cardinals are bringing back First Responders Appreciation Night on Wednesday, August 17, and adding a day-time option on Thursday, August 18. With the purchase of a special Theme ticket, fans will receive an exclusive Cardinals First Responders hat of their choosing representing either Law Enforcement, Fire or EMS. As a special thanks to our hometown heroes, Theme ticket buyers with receive a coupon for one complimentary drink. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to The BackStoppers.
The club will continue to raise awareness for the lifesaving act of organ and tissue donation with Donate Life Day presented by Mid-America Transplant on Sunday, August 14. With the purchase of a special Theme Ticket, fans will receive an exclusive Cardinals cap showing support for organ and tissue donor families along with transplant recipients. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated back to Mid-America Transplant’s Family House where individuals and their families wait for or recover from a lifesaving transplant.
On Tuesday, September 6, the Cardinals will host Billikens Night. With the purchase of a special Theme ticket, SLU supporters can cheer on the Cardinals with fellow alumni and fans and receive a Billikens-themed Cardinals cap.
