CODY STANLEY & ALEDMYS DIAZ OPTIONED TO MEMPHIS (AAA), TWO OTHERS RE-ASSIGNED
FT. MYERS, Fla., March 23, 2015 – The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have optioned catcher Cody Stanley and infielder Aledmys Diaz to the Memphis (AAA) roster and re-assigned non-roster catcher Travis Tartamella and outfielder Rafael Ortega to the Memphis team.
Today’s moves put the number of players on the team’s 40-man roster at 32 and the team now has 38 players remaining in Major League camp.
