The OOTP Grand Championship League Finals Will Be Cast On Twitch.tv Starting Tonight

Viewers Will Be Treated to an OOTP 15 Preview After Games 1 and 2

OOTP Developments announced today that the Grand Championship League Finals will be cast on their Twitch.tv channel beginning this evening, April 1, at 9 PM Eastern/6 PM Pacific. Games 1 and 2 will be shown, and presenters Brad Cook and Jordan Windy will show off gameplay from the upcoming Out of the Park Baseball 15 after both games. The schedule for the remaining games in the series will be announced during the Games 1 and 2 broadcast.
Eddy Vegas, who runs the popular Eddy Vegas Games channel on Twitch <http://www.twitch.tv/eddyvegasgames/profile>, will provide play-by-play for the GCL Finals. He will be accompanied on all games by OOTP PR and Marketing Manager Brad Cook, while Jordan Windy will be available for color commentary on select games in the series.
“I was honored to be asked to join the OOTP crew to work on this project,” said Eddy Vegas. “I have been casting OOTP games on my own channel for a while now, so this was a great chance to get into a virtual broadcast booth with a team and call some games.”
The Grand Championship League, which recently completed its second season, brings together the top GMs from many of OOTP’s most popular online leagues to see who is the best of the best. This year, 26 GMs competed and four of them won their divisions and headed to the playoffs. Play at the Plate (PATP) and USBL defeated ASBA and defending champion PEBA to advance to the GCL Finals.
The ASBA and PEBA GMs will each receive a $25 Amazon gift card. The winner of the GCL Finals between PATP and USBL will score a $50 Amazon gift card, along with free copies of OOTP 15 for himself and everyone else in his league. The loser of the GCL Finals wins a $50 Amazon gift card.
