Cardinals To Host Mizzou And Illini Nights At The Ballpark

Fans who purchase a special ticket will take home a unique college-themed Cardinals cap

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (July 24, 2013) – The St. Louis Cardinals are heading back to school with the announcement of two new theme nights for the 2013 season – Mizzou and Illini Nights at the Ballpark. Fans who purchase the special theme night tickets will receive an exclusive Cardinals cap in college colors.

On Friday, August 23rd, the stands will be full of Cardinal red, orange and blue when the Cardinals host the Atlanta Braves during Illini Night at the Ballpark. Fans who purchase the special theme night ticket will take home a one-of-a-kind Cardinals “STL” cap in Fighting Illini orange and blue. John Groce, Head Coach of the Fighting Illini basketball team will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

The following night, August 24th, is Mizzou Night at the Ballpark. Fans who purchase a themed ticket will receive an exclusive Cardinals “STL” cap in Tiger black and gold. Before the game, fans can join their fellow Tigers in Riverview Corner to mingle with Mizzou Athletes, Golden Girls, Truman the Tiger and enjoy music from the Mizzou traveling band.
