Cardinals and Big League Impact Announce All Win Campaign

A Push for the Playoffs That Raises Money for Charities in the Greater St. Louis Region

ST. LOUIS, Mo., August 13, 2019– The St. Louis Cardinals and pitcher Adam Wainwright have announced the All Win Campaign.  The team, along with current players Adam Wainwright, Miles Mikolas, Michael Wacha, Matt Carpenter, Paul Goldschmidt, Andrew Miller, and fans from around the country are making a push for the playoffs and donating money for every Cardinals’ win for the rest of 2019. This includes a pledge from Paul Goldschmidt of $5,000 for every postseason win.  The campaign has raised more than $205,000 to date.  The Cardinals will match fan donations up to $10,000.

“This campaign started as a grass roots effort among myself and some of my teammates,” said Wainwright. “We’re continually impressed by the passion and loyalty of Cardinals fans, and we wanted to share an opportunity with them to support some of the local organizations that mean so much to us.”

The funds raised by the All Win Campaign will support projects being conducted by St. Louis-based charities Crisis Aid and Operation Food Search.  Crisis Aid’s 200 Families project objective is to provide monthly allotments of food for 200 families in need at South City Academy and Confluence Academy through June 2020.  Operation Food Search is conducting two projects.  One project is a STEM program and Sustainable Farm at Normandy High School that will provide ag-tech training, nutritional food for students and the surrounding community, and a marketplace for students to learn business skills. The other project is the Rural Summer Meals Program, which will launch in 2020 and serve rural areas outside of St. Louis.
