Cardinals Add Five Dates to 2017 Theme Night Calendar

Tickets on Sale Now for Game of Thrones Night, KMOX Day, Billikens Night,  Illini Night and Mizzou Night

ST. LOUIS, Mo., April 6, 2017 – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced the addition of Game of Thrones Night to the 2017 Theme Ticket schedule.  The club also announced the return of KMOX Day and three theme nights celebrating local and regional universities.

On Wednesday, July 5, the Cardinals will host the first ever Game of Thrones Night at Busch Stadium in anticipation of the HBO hit show’s Season 7 premiere.  Fans who purchase a special theme ticket for the evening will receive a one-of-a-kind Game of Thrones-themed Cardinals t-shirt.  An official Game of ThronesIron Throne will be on hand for fan photo opportunities as well.  Fans can visit cardinals.com/thrones for more information.

On Thursday, June 1, the Cardinals are inviting all fans down to Busch for a businessman’s special duringKMOX Day versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Fans who purchase the special KMOX theme ticket will receive an exclusive Cardinals/KMOX throwback t-shirt celebrating the 35th anniversary of Jack Buck’s “That’s a Winner!” call.  Fans can also enjoy a special pregame meet and greet with KMOX on-air personalities.  Fans can go to cardinals.com/kmox for more information.

The Cardinals will also host theme nights dedicated to three nearby universities with Illini Night (Friday, May 19), Mizzou Night (Friday, July 28) and Billikens Night (Thursday, September 28).  Fans who purchase a special theme ticket for the respective theme nights will receive a unique school-themed Cardinals cap.  Each theme night will also host a pregame pep rally in Riverview Corner with special guests from the schools (band, cheer, coaches, athletes, etc.).
