2016 Cardinals Yearbook Spotlights Iconic Photos from Franchise History

Annual 208-page Keepsake Available for Just $15 – Online, at Busch Stadium and at Area Retailers

ST. LOUIS, Mo., September 27, 2016 – Presenting one of the finest collections of Cardinals photography ever assembled, the 2016 Cardinals Yearbook is now available and themed around a spectacular centerpiece: “Famous Frames: Classic Photos From Cardinals History and the Stories From Men On Each Side of the Camera.”

This photo collection represents the best of the best from throughout Cardinals history, balancing all-time classics that captured the franchise’s rise to championship glory in the 1920s and ’30s, through the full-color favorites of today that depict marquee moments still fresh in our memories.  From the Gas House Gang to Whiteyball to Tony’s troops and beyond, this anthology of baseball fine art is a Cardinals fan’s equivalent to owning a museum-quality collection.

“These are the photos that resonate and connect with fans in a uniquely special way, the treasured images Cardinals fans never tire of seeing,” said Steve Zesch, Director of Cardinals Publications. “We want this publication to be the end product for any fan who’s ever had a desire to own a collection of the most meaningful and powerful photos from Cardinals history.”

The Yearbook is far more than a simple presentation of photographs. The Cardinals Publications staff turned to the men connected with the images — the photographers who captured history and the players and personalities who made it — and presented their reflections, remembrances and rich personal experiences associated with the photos.

At 208 pages, this exclusive Cardinals publication also includes the traditional content that highlights each season’s Yearbook, with action photos and studio portraits of every member of the 2016 team.

The 2016 Cardinals Yearbook is on sale for $15 at Busch Stadium gates, the Official Cardinals Team Store, Cardinals Authentics shops, and at many St. Louis metro area retailers including Dierbergs, Shop ‘n Save, Schnucks, QuikTrip, Walgreens and Cardinals Clubhouse stores.  It can also be purchased by phone at 314.345.9000, or online at cardinals.com/yearbook.  A digital edition of the 2016 Yearbook will soon be available to download for $10 online.
