Redbird Relics: Treasures From The Cardinal Museum On Sale Now

One-of-a-kind book celebrating team history by showcasing museum collection available at Cardinals.com/book

           ST. LOUIS, November 3, 2015 – The St. Louis Cardinals have started taking orders for Redbird Relics: Treasures from the St. Louis Cardinals Museum, a high-quality hardback 144-page coffee-table style book that celebrates the rich history and heritage of the franchise. The team anticipates high demand for the first-of-its-kind keepsake collectible, and is taking orders now to ensure delivery before the holidays.

Redbird Relics takes you inside the incredible collection of memorabilia from the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum,” said Bill DeWitt III, President of the Cardinals. “This beautiful book helps tell the remarkable story of our franchise through our amazing museum collection.”

Stories and photos of artifacts from many of the club’s greatest moments are showcased, including the first-pitched ball from the 1926 World Series, Stan Musial’s final game jersey, Bob Gibson’s 1968 Cy Young Award, David Freese’s shredded jersey from Game 6 of the 2011 World Series, and many more. Featuring over 300 artifacts in rich, full-color photography with accompanying essays, Redbird Relics is the next best thing to being at the Cardinals Museum.

For the next few weeks, Redbird Relics will be sold exclusively through the Cardinals website at cardinals.com/book. To ensure delivery by December 25, orders must be placed online no later than December 15. The book will also be available at these exclusive providers beginning in early December: The Cardinals Authentics Shop in Cardinals Nation at Ballpark Village, The Official Cardinals Team Store at Busch Stadium- presented by Majestic, and The Cardinals Clubhouse shops. About the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame & Museum

Located on the second floor of Cardinals Nation in Ballpark Village, the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum showcases one of the greatest club collections in all of Major League Baseball, celebrating the history of the Cardinals and baseball in St. Louis from the late 1800s through today. The 8,000 square foot museum takes fans on a chronological journey through the rich history of the franchise, with artifacts, video, broadcast calls and interactive elements including the opportunity to hold an authentic game-used bat from a Cardinals’ great or a world championship ring.
