THREE PLAYERS OPTIONED TO MEMPHIS (AAA), JACOB WILSON RE-ASSIGNED
JUPITER, Fla., March 29, 2015 – The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have optioned catcher Ed Easley, infielder Dean Anna, and first baseman Xavier Scruggs to the Memphis (AAA) roster and re-assigned non-roster infielder Jacob Wilson to their minor league camp.
Today’s moves put the number of players on the team’s 40-man roster at 28 and the team now has 33 players remaining in Major League camp.
