MICHAEL OHLMAN OPTIONED TO MEMPHIS (AAA), FOUR OTHERS RE-ASSIGNED TO MINORS
JUPITER, Fla., March 14, 2015 – The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have optioned catcher Michael Ohlman to the Memphis Redbirds (AAA) roster and re-assigned non-roster pitchers Mike Mayers, and John Gast and non-roster catchers Steve Bean and Alberto Rosario to their minor league camp.
Today’s moves put the number of players on the team’s 40-man roster at 38 and the team now has 52 players remaining in Major League camp.
