Cardinals and New Country 92.3 Partner For Flood Relief Benefit Concert

100% of proceeds from special $9.23 tickets to go to the Salvation Army

 St. Louis, Mo., May 17, 2017 – The St. Louis Cardinals announced the team will host a Flood Relief Benefit Concert in partnership with New Country 92.3 radio prior to the Memorial Day game at Busch Stadium on Monday, May 29.  With thousands of area residents still recovering from the recent flooding, fans can purchase specially-priced $9.23 tickets with proceeds going to the Salvation Army’s relief efforts in the area. 100% of the proceeds from the first 1,000 tickets sold will be donated, and the Cardinals will also make an additional matching donation.

Prior to the 1:15 p.m. afternoon game vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers, gates will open at 11:15 a.m. for a special pre-game acoustic concert in Riverview Corner featuring area artists and rising country stars

Trent Tomlinson and Drew Baldridge.  In addition, Missouri native and new country artist Tyler Farr will be on hand to greet fans and will join 92.3’s Bud and Broadway for a pre-game ceremony and honorary pitch.

The May 29 game also features a Mystery Pocket T-Shirt promotional giveaway with 30,000 fans age 16 and up receiving one of four specially designed pocket t-shirts as they enter Busch Stadium.
