Some teams are afraid of the ‘cold-weather’ states when it comes to the draft, but that never has been an issue for the Cardinals. It appears that St. Louis may have turned to an old stomping ground once again in Round 14 and stop me if you have heard this before — a 6’6″ RHP out of New Hampshire who was the ace of his staff and has the initials CC.
While there will never be another Chris Carpenter, I’m okay with looking at Carson Cross for any comparisons possible. That may also include a freak injury as well, but the Senior certainly didn’t let that stop him from dominating his last college campaign at UConn.
