Cardinals Host 10th Annual Career Day at Busch Stadium

Students and educators can attend panel discussion with executives from Cardinals, Fox 2 and KPLR Channel 11

                ST. LOUIS, MO (August 21, 2014–The St. Louis Cardinals are teaming up with Fox 2 and KPLR Channel 11 for the 10thannual Career Day at Busch Stadium on Wednesday, September 3rd.

High School students and educators are invited to attend a special pre-game Q&A/panel discussion with executives from both companies, focusing on careers in sports and media.

The moderated discussion provides a unique opportunity for students to ask questions about media, baseball operations, special events, ticket sales and corporate sales. Cardinals participants include Michael Girsch, Assistant General Manager; Julia Row, Director Special Events; and Dan Farrell, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing. Jarrett Shustrin, Executive Producer; David Hits, Engineer; and Anthony Kiekow, Morning Show Reporter, will represent FOX 2 and KPLR 11. Panel members are subject to change

Following the special presentation, students can attend an exclusive college fair with representatives from many colleges and universities around the Midwest.

Each $15 Career Day ticket includes access to all of the pre-game activities, a ticket to the 12:45 p.m. Cardinals game against the Pirates, as well as a voucher for a free hot dog, soda and chips.
