Cardinals Host 11th Annual Career Day at Busch

Students and educators can attend panel discussion with executives from Cardinals, FOX 2 and KPLR Channel 11           

               ST. LOUIS, August 27, 2015 – The St. Louis Cardinals are teaming up with FOX 2 and KPLR Channel 11 for the 11th annual Career Day at Busch Stadium on Wednesday, September 9, 2015.

High School students and educators are invited to attend a special pregame Q&A/panel discussion with executives from both companies, focusing on careers in sports and media.

The moderated discussion provides a unique opportunity for students to ask questions about media, baseball operations, corporate sales and more. Cardinals participants include Dan Farrell, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing; Kerry Robinson, Professional Scout; and Lindsey Weber, Communications Coordinator. Supervising Producer for KPLR 11 and FOX 2, Kim Young, and FOX 2 anchor Vic Faust will also be on the panel. Panel members are subject to change.

Following the special presentation, students can attend an exclusive college fair with representatives from many colleges and universities around the Midwest.

Each $15 Career Day ticket includes access to all of the pregame activities, a ticket to the 12:45 p.m. Cardinals game against the Cubs, as well as a voucher for a free hot dog, soda and chips.
