Cardinals Museum Announces Membership and Programming

Membership benefits include unlimited museum admission and exclusive Cardinals Hall of Fame bobbleheads

ST. LOUIS, July 27, 2015 – Today the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum introduced a new membership program for fans as well as the first event in a new series of Cardinals Museum programming.

The St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum Membership program – the first in franchise history – gives fans access to great benefits and exclusive items while providing funding for exhibit design, curatorial needs, artifact procurement and restoration.

Fans have the option to purchase an individual membership for $50 or a family membership for $85. Both memberships include unlimited admission, exclusive bobbleheads, guest passes, access to member-only events and previews, 10% off at the Cardinals Authentics Shop and Cardinals Nation Restaurant, access to select presales and exclusive ticket discounts, and free admission to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. For the 2015 season, individual members will receive a Rogers Hornsby bobblehead, while families will receive Hornsby and Jim Edmonds. For a detailed list of membership benefits and terms, visit cardinals.com/museum.

Memberships are now available for purchase in person at the museum desk, by calling 314.345.9783, or online at cardinals.com/museum. Cardinals season ticket holders will receive 10% off the cost of membership by contacting museummembership@cardinals.com or by calling 314.345.9783.

In addition to membership, the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum also introduced new programming for all museum guests. Every remaining Friday home game during the 2015 season, the Cardinals Museum staff will host an Artifact Spotlight presentation in the Sportsman’s Park Theater. During each pregame event, fans will have the opportunity to see artifacts in the Cardinals collection not currently on display at the museum and learn the history of the items. The presentation is included with the purchase of a museum ticket or membership and is repeated multiple times before the game begins.

The 8,000 square foot state-of-the art St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum (#CardsMuseum), which is on the second floor of Cardinals Nation in Ballpark Village, celebrates the rich history of baseball in St. Louis and the legacy of one of baseball’s most storied franchises. The Cardinals’ museum collection is the largest team-held collection in baseball and is second only to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in terms of size with over 20,000 memorabilia items and hundreds of thousands of archival photographs. Fans can learn more about the museum, hours of operation and admission at cardinals.com/museum.
