Ballpark Village Introduces “Fridays On Clark”

Weekly St. Louis happy hour with street festival atmosphere debuts Friday, April 4th

ST. LOUIS, MO (March 17, 2014) – Today Ballpark Village announced details for “Fridays on Clark,” the largest happy hour in St. Louis and the official kickoff to the weekend. This weekly celebration of all things St Louis debuts Friday, April 4, 2014, at 5 p.m. and takes place on Clark Street between Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village.

Fridays on Clark is a downtown celebration with a street festival atmosphere, live music, and much more. The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. every Friday with the ceremonial arrival of a different featured beer. Deliveries will range from the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale hitch to aerial athletes repelling from a helicopter.

30-year beer veteran Tony Caradonna will be wearing his red blazer and preside over the festivities as the “Captain of Fridays on Clark” and celebrate a different guest of honor each week. The Captain will tap the keg along with the guest of honor to officially start the party, with limited sampling of the specialty beer of the week for attendees. One lucky local corporate group or organization will also be featured at the Budweiser Brew House second floor balcony overlooking all the action. Fridays on Clark will conclude around 7 p.m. but everyone is encouraged to remain downtown to enjoy everything St. Louis has to offer.

Cardinals President Bill DeWitt III will be a special guest of honor at the first Fridays on Clark event. After the opening festivities, DRZHIVEGAS will provide a free and larger than life outdoor performance at Ballpark Village.

Every week a group and/or company will be able to host a party on the second floor balcony of the Budweiser Brew House during Fridays on Clark. Those interested in learning more should contact tony@stlballparkvillage.com.

Sounds interesting, the only thing is the combination of being about beer selection, the Cardinals history with AB and Budweiser being mentioned a lot makes it sound like it will likely be all AB products rather than getting to enjoy local microbrews.
