Fans receive one-of-a-kind t-shirt; Jewish rock musician Rick Recht to perform pre-game

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (July 16, 2013) – The St. Louis Cardinals announced details for the 2013 Jewish Community Night at the ballpark on Thursday, August 8th when the Cardinals host the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Fans who purchase the special theme night ticket will receive a one-of-a-kind Jewish Community Night Cardinals T-Shirt. Beginning at 5:45 p.m., all fans are invited to attend a pre-game concert in Ford Plaza by national Jewish-rock recording artist, and St. Louis native, Rick Recht. During the 7th inning stretch, Recht and the Jewish Community Night Choir will perform “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”

Throughout the night, fans can also enjoy kosher snacks available for purchase at the new Kohn’s Food Cart outside section 147. The cart, which was introduced earlier this season, offers authentic kosher hot dogs, pastrami, and corned beef during all game days, except the Sabbath and Jewish holidays.

Tickets for Jewish Community Night are on sale now at cardinals.com/theme.

Jewish Community Night is just one of the unique personalized theme ticket promotions planned for the 2013 season. Theme tickets are customized promotions that allow a select number of fans to celebrate a common interest while enjoying access to a unique promotional item and/or an exclusive pre-game event.
